So much has changed in our neighborhood in the past several months, I decided to take a tour and get the latest on each builder's offerings. I visited models by Van Metre, Winchester, Beazer and chitchatted with my friends at Miller and Smith about their very exciting new offerings. I'll add this information to my new construction page soon, but wanted to relay some details from each builder here first. I'll be adding additional updates over the next few days.

Single Families

I was very surprised to find that: a) You can drive through the barriers at Northstar and Creighton, and b) When you do, there are houses back there! Both Miller and Smith and Winchester are building homes back there in a very heavily-wooded enclave. Brambleton is not known for it's trees, at least in the earlier sections (the lots were formally open fields), so it's nice to see homes with such beautiful views.

Miller and Smith

Miller and Smith has moved on from the popular 1920's series and has moved on to The Noble Pointe Collection with a stately english manor design. All include many designer upgrades as standard (granite, hardwood, gourmet kitchens). Three models are available:

The Rosemoore: Four large bedrooms with a garage tucked toward the back/side of the home starts at $529,990.

The Hathaway: A light and open great room with included morning room starts at $559,990.

The Taymouth: Offers a first floor master suite with a loft and starts at $579,900

The sales manager mentioned he is writing contracts as low as $509k and that includes a brick front. These homes are going to be unlike anything we've seen in Brambleton before. Looking forward to watching these models come to life.
